This combined RYA Day Skipper course for power and sail is tailored for aspiring skippers who want to gain the knowledge and skills to navigate safely in familiar waters by day.

Course Content:

• Planning and executing day passages
• Basic navigation and chart work
• Practical application of Pilotage and Tides
• Safety protocols and emergency response

Course Outcomes / Abilities at the End of the Course:

• Confidently skipper a boat during the day in familiar waters
• Apply basic navigation and pilotage skills
• Manage crew effectively

Prerequisites: 

• Knowledge equivalent to Day Skipper theory
• Competent Crew / Helmsman course
• 5 days at sea, 4 night hours, 100NM
