Course Outcomes / Abilities at the End of the Course:

• List Safety equipment and features 
• Carry out pre use familiarisation checks and operation 
• How to launch, recover and maintain the unit
• Identify, local bylaws, weather conditions, and Tides restrictions 
• List of collision regulations and buoyage
• Safe operation and manoeuvre at slow and fat speed.
• Judge and understand stepping distances.
• Demonstrate all practical skills taught.

Prerequisites: 

• At least 12-16 years old, possess basic swimming ability (50m), and have reasonable physical fitness.
